My current passport expires in 2 years. I have put it to great use since I renewed it by visiting a new country annually. This got me thinking about where I’d like to go next. In no particular order, I’d like to visit:

St. Vincent – Vincy carnival?
India – Saris, Taj Mahal, chaos. Yes!
Dubai – Skiing in the dessert?
Ghana – Slave trade history
Brazil – Vibrancy!
Barbados – Liming and running
Turkey – shopping & belly dancing
Costa Rica – ziplining through jungles
Trinidad – Carnival, anyone?
Jamaica – authentic jerk & sunshine
Thailand – floating market
Mozambique – I just must
South Africa – for the accents & history
Cape Verde – beautiful people
Bali, Indonesia – Gorgeousness!
Philippines – beaches on a budget
Côte D’Ivoire – once it’s safer
Senegal – to learn Wolof
Italy – gelato, pasta, fashion, amore

I’d also like to re-visit some places I’ve visited in childhood and early adulthood. Is it as lovely as I remembered? Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, and Guadalajara, Mexico.

@singlema returned from Italy last year glowing about her trip with Gate1 Travel. They have quite a few affordable options for many of the places on my list. Perhaps I’ll give them a try. If you have any agency or other travel-related recommendations to share, I’m all ears.
